Club Building Proceedure
We are not like the shop that has a whole range of ready assembled clubs sitting in racks waiting for someone to order so that we can ship them straight out. Each order we receive is unique. It is only when your order comes to hand that your selected clubs, shafts and grips are hand assembled from the finest components available. We work on the principle "Quality rather the quantity." which of course takes time. For most orders that time frame is Seven to Nine Business Days. Below we have outlined the process for your review and understanding:
Day One to Two - The process begins when we receive your order. It is checked and on-sent to our assembly facility in California where the order is further reviewed by our clubfitter for possible errors. We would rather take the time to get it right the first time rather than have to do it all over again. Your order goes forward to production and the components are indented from our store.
Day Three to Four - Parts are staged for building. If we are short any parts they are ordered immediately from our supplier, which may mean a delay of 24 hours, 3 days at the most.. In the rare case of a part being on back-order, we will contact you with a likely delivery date and/or give you some other suggestion.
Day Four to Eight - Your clubs are assembled. Again it is quality not quantity. The epoxy glues we use take 24 hours to cure before we can trim the shafts to length and mount the grips. It is at this point quality control steps in and examines each club to ensure it meets our critical standards and compares the finsihed club against the original order .
Day Six to Nine - Your clubs are polished and packed ready for depatch.
Transit to Australia takes seven to 10 days - much dependent on how long Customs take to clear the package. Your order is again checked and re-packaged for delivery within Australia. An e-mail is despatched to let you know the wait is almost over.
