The Acer XK Draw Driver incorporates the same cutting edge technology as the new Acer XK titanium driver, with one major difference. The one addition is to incorporate a generous offset hosel - a larger offset than is found on many of today’s most popular offset models. This helps to further assist squaring up the clubface without having to resort to a severely closed face angle. While it is easy to provide for the maximum allowable performance on center shots, the difference of a premium club is the ability to provide near perfect results with less than perfect shots. The cup-face moves the welds away from the corners of the head to provide a thinner, more active face to maximize ball speed on the off-center shots. The variable face thickness further reduces the wall thickness around the perimeter of the impact area so the entire club face becomes a gigantic sweet spot. Off-center or miss hits will launch the ball directly down the fairway like you struck the ball in the center of the face.
