Acer Mantara (Standard) 460cc Titanium Driver
Available Right and Left Hand
Departing from the tradional shapes for drivers that have evolved over the years, the Mantara family takes on a unique appearance. Why? To increase the moment of inertia (MOI), which is a measurement of the clubhead's ability to resist twisting. . At impact, the golf ball is not always struck in-line with the centre of gravity resulting in the head twisting and consequently consuming energy that robs the player of distance. The higher the MOI the more forgiving is the clubhead; the less the tendency to twist and less the loss of energy. Ipso facto, even with off-centre hits the ball goes further.
What is the difference between this, the standard Mantara Driver, and the Mantara XL? The standard Mantara is deeper and more compact allowing better players to work the ball. The Mantara XL is wider and longer for maximum MOI and forgiveness.
The Acer Mantara Driver conforms with R&A and USGA Rules.
